tryst with oils

I was drawn into the colors of the Andy Worhol- Marlyn Monroe picture. So this is what I tried to copy in my first tryst with oil paints. Lucky for me, my art teacher specializes in portraits and that I fish for criticism! Couple of corrections here and there with some measurements, I was on my way to finish the underpainting. So, here it is! I know they say an artist never shows his/her work before it is complete..but since I don't know how it  may turn out once I progress, I promptly took a photograph of what I have done so far.

I need to bring a little bit of balance to the right side of the forehead..couple of mms in..

I almost wish I could leave it like this.
